Your contribution is critical in helping us to address food insecurity across Hamilton County. Through our volunteer and network resources, we are able to direct 90% of our donations directly towards critical programming support of food pantries, summer lunch, and youth meals.  Community and corporate partnerships can leverage your local donation 3:1, thus allowing your $20 donation to become $60 in food purchases.

When school is out, some kids go hungry!

Starting in 2013, HCHFB began supporting community and church led Summer Lunch programs across the county with monetary support and additional kid friendly food selections.

Please consider a donation today that will help provide for the 45,000 meals that will be served to Hamilton County youth this summer.

Donations can be directed to individual school areas and will be divided equally to all Summer Lunch programs within that area or designate to help all programs across the county.

You can direct your gift for the summer lunch program in the following ways:

  • Carmel School Area
  • Hamilton Heights School Area
  • Hamilton Southeastern School Area
  • Noblesville School Area
  • Sheridan School Area
  • Westfield School Area
  • Support All School Areas in County

We partner with the Hamilton County 4-H Beef , Dairy, and Swine projects and will be purchasing several of the 4-H members’ animals to provide fresh beef and pork for the pantries to share with our friends and neighbors in need.

This will coincide with the Hamilton County 4-H Livestock Auction on July 25, 2017.  We are seeking donors NOW– designate Meating the Need online or on your check.
